As Design Manager for Teva, I played a key role in expanding the brand beyond its sandal heritage by creating its first true closed toe trail running sneaker. The goal was to bring Teva’s distinctive outdoor DNA into a new product category while staying authentic to what made the brand unique. I designed the shoe with a webbing based lacing closure system that directly referenced the signature strapping language of Teva sandals, creating a strong visual and functional connection to the brand’s core identity. The result was an innovative trail product that blended performance, fit, and brand storytelling in a fresh way.
