I helped create the Ovni skate brand alongside Steve Berra and Mike Taylor, developing footwear built to meet the real demands of serious skateboarding while delivering a distinct product story. The vision was to make sneakers that were exceptionally durable, comfortable, and performance-driven—footwear that could withstand extreme wear without sacrificing fit or feel. I designed the product using advanced materials such as SuperFabric and high-abrasion suede to maximize durability and extend the life of each style. The result was a collection of skate sneakers that felt almost indestructible, giving the brand a powerful point of difference and a strong reputation for toughness, innovation, and authentic skate functionality.
