As Design Manager at Saucony, I had the opportunity to work on the first GRID Type A lightweight trainer, helping shape a product that reflected the brand’s commitment to performance innovation and speed-focused design. The goal was to create a lightweight training shoe that felt fast and efficient, stripped down to the essentials without sacrificing the performance credibility that Saucony runners expected. I contributed to the design direction by focusing on a clean, technical aesthetic and a product language that supported the lightweight concept. The GRID Type A became an important expression of performance minimalism, reinforcing Saucony’s position in the running market.
